However, he pitched the idea for this third film and served as executive producer
Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now lives at the Bear Retirement Home. With the Brown family at the helm, an exciting adventure ensues when a mystery takes them on an unexpected journey. The director of the previous two films, Paul King, decided not to direct this installment. Featured in Graham Norton and the Expendables: Billy Crystal/Emily Mortimer/Hugh Bonneville/Pharrell Williams/Michael Kiwanuka (2024).
Brown has taken a new direction
Well, Mrs. For those who don’t know, previous incumbent Sally Hawkins said it was time to move on, but to me Emily Mortimer is just another old product of London’s School for Pretty Girls, she continued, but Emily’s initial moves are irritatingly flat and uninspiring. For a few minutes I thought Oh no!! I was trying to warm up to her, she got a little weird later in the movie…the least they could do is give her a meaningful script, she seemed too much like a little wife who doesn’t say much.
let’s be honest
I feel sorry for Madeleine Harris who played Judy, maybe both, she tried to be Sally Hawkins at times but she had big boots to run and Sally was a roarer. They all played their roles very well in the end. Anyway the likable Peruvian ends up taking the initiative this time and coming to the aid of the family members. A family member is in trouble and the oldest folly and mortal sin are the cause of all the mischief.
the target audience
The scenery in the faraway place is stunning, it inspired me to go there, as is London, which is darkly happy, lots of hilarity in the film, action and tearjerkers too, but many young children, with less than a brave disposition, will find the show not so heartwarming, scary in parts, so I thought visually it was just as fantastic as the previous films, while the script is flat at times and a bit predictable, the mysteries unlocked were simple enough for a five year old to understand… ah… Haha… that doesn’t take away from the CGI impact of the film and one particularly ear-splitting one, forget it if you have healthy phobias of certain creatures (not snakes).
a brilliant character from the last film shows up let’s just say I don’t think this is the end
It looks like Bonneville has had a hair transplant, I’m not sure, but as always he performs great, as do Walters and some great newcomers to the story. Hey…
